AFL: Darragh Kirwan returns for Kildare

Darragh Kirwan returns to the Kildare starting team after missing out last week through injury

Darragh Kirwan has been named at full forward for Satuirday's game against Laois in the AFL Division 3, Round 4 clash.  The Naas man missed the game against Leitrim last week; James McGrath also returns and wears the no. 6 shirt.

Jack McKevitt retains his place at wing back, Ryan Houlihan who came off just before half-time in that game is out through injury; while Cathal Hagney gets his first start partnering Kevin Feely in midfield.

Callum Bolton, who also missed the Leitrim game, is listed on the match day programme as is Niall Kelly while the return of Jimmy Hyland is another great boost for The Lilies; Daniel Flynn is also named on the bench.

The team reads:

KILDARE v Laois: Didier Cordonnier; Ryan Burke, Mick O'Grady, Brian Byrne; Jack McKevitt, James McGrath, David Hyland; Kevin Feely, Cathal Hagney, Brian McLoughlin, Alex Beirne, Darragh Swords; Ryan Sinkey, Darragh Kirwan, Ben McCormack.

Subs: Cian Burke; Harry O'Neill, Mark Dempsey, Tommy Gill, Aaron Masterson, Rian Teahan, Callum Bolton, Colm Dalton, Niall Kelly, Daniel Flynn, Jimmy Hyland.
