Naas, fresh from their fourth successive Kildare Senior Football Championship, are gearing up for a huge battle with recently crowned first-time Dublin champions Cuala in the AIB Leinster Club Senior Football Championship.

Cuala got the better of 2022 All-Ireland Club champions Kilmacud Crokes in the Dublin county final on Sunday, October 20. In that game, Cuala were reduced to 14-men after a red card was shown to Dublin footballer Con O'Callaghan. A Dublin County Board meeting took place on Tuesday evening, November 5, which saw O'Callaghan's one-game suspension overturned which makes him free to play in his club's first ever Leinster Club Senior Football Championship game.

Naas haven't had a good time playing the county champions from the capital as they've been knocked out of the last three Leinster Club Championships by Kilmacud Crokes on all three occasions.

The recently redeveloped St Conleth's Park will be the venue for the meeting of Naas and Cuala on Saturday evening, November 9. The game will be shown on RTÉ 2 with throw-in at 7.15pm.
