PICTURES: Fans flock to see Naas navigate past Summerhill to Leinster semi-finals

Three-in-a-row Kildare champions Naas marched into the AIB Leinster Club semi-final with a commanding 10-point win over Meath opposition Summerhill at Manguard Park, Hawkfield on Sunday.

A final ten point margin was hard to see mid-way through the second half as Naas, having led at the break 1-5 to 0-3, the goal coming from Sean Hanafin, had seen their lead cut to just two points as Summerhill had their best period in the third quarter.

Naas upped their game with a Darragh Kirwan punched point quickly followed by a fine goal from wing back Eoghan Prizeman to make it  2-8 to 0-8 with less than 10 left to play. Naas dominated the rest of the game tacking on no less than four points, as Summerhill failed to raise another flag, to set up a semi-final showdown with St Loman's of Westmeath in Mullingar in two weeks.
