An event to facilitate people who wish to take a moment in Celbridge to remember the 1916 Rising will take place on Easter Saturday, March 26 (12.00 noon), in the grounds of St. Patrick's Church, Main Street Celbridge.

The Insight Theatre Group will read the proclamation along with song and recitation from members of the organisers, Celbridge Guided Tours.

People are welcome to attend the event dressed in period costume if they wish.

The national flag will be raised to full mast in the Church grounds and the National Anthem will be sung by Rebecca Murphy.

On 2/3 April, the Castlekeep Art Group will hold their annual art exhibition at Maynooth Post Primary school, Moyglare Road (10.00 am-5.00pm each day).

The exhibition is open to the public and free of charge.
