The death has occurred of John Harrigan, Hawkfield, Newbridge, Kildare.

​HARRIGAN John (Hawkfield, Newbridge) April 20 2026 (peacefully) at Naas Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his sisters Cora and Anne.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Anne, son Colm, daughter Joan, son-in-law Shane, grandchildren Siobhán, Séamus and Chris, sister Eileen, nephews and nieces, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May John rest in peace.

The death has occurred of Stephen Kelly, Ardhaven House, Nurney Road, Monasterevin, Kildare.

Stephen passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family while in the wonderful care of the staff of The Maguire Ward at Tallaght Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Joe and Sarah, brothers Jack and baby Joe. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Rose, daughter Stephanie, son Joseph and his partner Minde, sisters Mary and Trini, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, former co-workers, relatives, neighbours, friends and his four legged friend Ziggy.

Reposing at Our Lady's Chapel Monasterevin on Tuesday evening from 5pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10:45am arriving St Peter and Paul's Church, Monasterevin for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Funeral afterwards to St Evin's Cemetery, Monasterevin.

The death has occurred of Deborah McEvoy (Nee O’Reilly), Kilmore, Enfield, County Meath, Sunday April 19, surrounded by her heartbroken family, in the loving care of the doctors and nurses of St. James hospital.

Loving wife of Bill (William) daughters Erín and Ciara, her parents June and Eddie, sisters Linda, Martina, Jennifer, June, Edwina, Elaine and Helen. Brothers in law, God Mother Georgie, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Relatives and Friends.

Deborah will be reposing at her residence Eircode A83 KO 65 This Wednesday evening from 5.30pm, concluding with rosary at 7.30 pm.

Deborah will be removed by Murty O’Neill Funeral Directors to St. Patrick's Church, Johnstown Bridge, Eir Code A83 TK35 this Thursday morning for the funeral mass at 11 am, followed by cremation in Newlands Crematorium at 1.30 pm.

Dr Dympna McLoughlin

The death has occurred of Dr. Dympna McLoughlin, Leinster Park, Maynooth, Kildare.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Dr. Dympna McLoughlin, Leinster Park, Maynooth, Co. Kildare. April 15 2026.

Daughter of the late James and Eileen McLoughlin. Her death is deeply regretted by her adored sons James and Kevin Walsh and their partners Rebekah and Lisa, their dad Jim and most especially her treasured grandson Jack.

She will be sadly missed by her brothers Gerard and John, her sisters Celine and Áine, her nieces Lorna, Emma, Elaine and Ali and her nephew Gerard. Fondly remembered by her aunt Nancy in Australia, and her uncles Jimmy and Tommy.

Dympna will be sadly missed by her colleagues in the History Department of Maynooth University, her extended family and her large circle of friends.

Desmond Morris

The death has occurred of Desmond Morris, Millers Weir, Athgarvan, Kildare.

Peacefully, aged 98, after a life well lived. Much loved Desmond will be sadly missed by son Jason, daughter in law Annie, grandchildren Tilly, Maddie, Belle and Evan.

A private cremation for family only will take place. A celebration of Desmond's life will be held later in the year.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff in the Curragh Ward at Naas Hospital for their excellent care and kindness in Desmond's last week.

His final years in Ireland were made wonderful because of the new friends he made. The family would like to thank every one of them for welcoming him so warmly.
