Linda Costello (née Flood)

The death has occurred of Linda COSTELLO (née Flood), Graiguecullen, Carlow / Castledermot, Kildare / Ballyboden, Dublin.

Linda Costello (née Flood) of 7 The Towers, Graiguecullen , Carlow and formerly of Castledermot, Co Kildare and Ballyboden, Dublin, passed away tragically, on April 10 2026 at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

She will be sadly missed by her loving children Ben and Amy and their father Larry, parents Ronnie and Patricia, sister Samantha, brother-in-law Keith, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, relatives and friends, especially her good friends Emma and Siobhan.

May Linda’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Linda will repose at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq (R93 C863) on Friday April 17th from 5pm concluding with Prayers at 7pm. Removal from there on Saturday morning at 10.30am to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am.

Funeral afterwards to Carpenter Bros Cremation Chapel, Shamrock Sq., for cremation Service at 12.30pm approx.

John Blanchfield of Modubeagh, Wolfhill, Athy, Co. Kildare and formerly of Pacifica, San Francisco, passed away on April 5th, following a short illness, at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Ray and Jenny and his sister Jane.

Sadly missed by his wife Angie, son Kyle and his wife Erica, stepchildren Debbie and Allen and his adored granddaughters Kylie, Kaelani and Kiera.

Deeply loved by his sister Bernadette, brother James, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Siani, Aunt Rose, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Friday evening (April 17) from 6pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Saturday morning (April 18) to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Wolfhill for Requiem Mass at 12 noon , see link http://www.facebook.com/ballyadamsparish.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Ballyadams.

David Carton

The death has occurred of David Carton, Bunclody, Wexford / Ardclough, Kildare.

CARTON, David (Bunclody, Co. Wexford and formerly of Ardclough, Co. Kildare) April 13 2026 (Peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Wexford General Hospital.

Beloved partner of the late Siobhán, father of Muireann, Ruairí and Diníon, dear son of Mona and the late Danno and brother of Tony and Lorna.

Sadly missed by his loving family, brother-in-law Noel, sister-in-law Helen, uncle Aidan, aunt Marie, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

May he rest in peace.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Carmel, parents Tommy and Aileen, brother Francis and sisters Dolores and Celine. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his children Tracy, Colin and Bryan, daughters-in-law Sinead and Suzanne, devoted and much loved grandchildren Jack, Ella, Ben and Ava, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence on Thursday (Apr. 16) from 5pm, with concluding prayers at 7pm. Removal from his residence by Oliver Reilly Funeral Directors on Friday (Apr. 17) at approx. 1:30pm to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Straffan for 2pm Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Straffan Cemetery.

Who died on 15th April 2026 at Naas General hospital.

Beloved husband of the late Bernie, deeply regretted by his loving sons Dermot, Paddy, Terry, Clifford and Wesley, daughter Sharon, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.
