The community of Naas, Co Kildare is mourning the recent passing of “quiet, gentle giant” Eliser Alquizar, who passed peacefully on September 26 last surrounded by his loving family in the kind are of the staff of Naas Hospital and formerly St Vincent's Hospital.
Beloved husband of Floriza and adored Tatay of Raiza, Joanah and Rafa. Eliser will be dearly missed by his loving wife, children, parents Nena and Silvestre, brothers Eric, Norbeh, and Neal, sisters Nesyl and Nesmarie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends in Ireland and the Philippines and his many work colleagues from Birdseye.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas (Eircode W91CD0K) on Tuesday 30th September from 4pm to 6pm, and on Wednesday October 1 from 2pm to 8pm. Funeral on Thursday October 2 with Requiem Mass at 10am in The Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas, followed by cremation at The Temple, Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Tributes paid to Eliser on RIP.ie include: “My sincere condolence's to all of Eli's family on the passing of such a gentleman. I have had the pleasure of known Eli for over 20 years. He was a quiet gentle giant who always had a smile even in the worse of times. Unfortunately you are gone to your forever bed and may you rest in peace in it but you will never be forgotten Eli.”
And:”Sincere condolences to Eli's wife and both families on the very sad passing of Eli he was a true Gentleman and a pleasure to work with over the last 20 years. You will be missed by all your work colleagues at Birdseye and great memories of you over the years and we all will cherish them Memories. Rest in Eternal piece Eliser.”
While another mourner wrote: “I was shocked and saddened to hear the news. With deepest sympathy. Eli was a dear colleague and friend, a truly cheerful person, for 20 years and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.”
And another added: “Condolences to all of Eli's family on his sad passing .Eli was a gentleman , a quiet and very pleasant man .He will be missed by his work colleagues and friends at Birdseye. Rest in Eternal Peace Eli.”
