Tributes paid to young man from Kildare who passed recently

Tributes have been paid to a young man from Caragh, Kildare who passed last weekend.

Lawrence (Lar) Delaney, Caragh Lawns, Caragh, and formerly of Prosperous, Co Kildare, passed suddenly on August 9 2025.

Lawrence will be forever loved and missed by his devoted father John, mother Sharrona, his brothers Martin and Solomon, his sister Maicílí, John's partner Gemma and her family Derv and Mattia, Sandie and Christy and their children, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

Tributes paid to Lawrence on RIP.ie this week include: “Martin, sending our deepest condolences to you and your family on the tragic loss of your brother Lar. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.”

And: “Our most heartfelt condolences John and family. May Lar's soul rest in Peace.”

While another mourner wrote: “We are so very sorry John and Gemma. Our thoughts are with you. God bless xx.”

And another added: “Sincere condolences to John, Gemma, Lar's brothers & sister & mother. We are very sad for you all and thinking of you at this devastating time. Rest in peace Lar.”
