WATCH: Prime Time special on missing Newbridge student Deirdre Jacob

Last night’s RTE’s Prime Time focused on the disappearance of Newbridge teenager Deirdre Jacob on July 28, 1998 shortly after 3pm.

The Jacob’s family issued a renewed appeal  for any information on the whereabouts of their daughter Deirdre and the programme showed interviews from her friends and younger sister Ciara.


“This is the last place that Deirdre was seen a few mintues after 3pm on July 28, 1998,” he said to the camera.

“We are appealing to you – to you who has information or are aware of someone that has information now is the time – do the right thing. You know that that information can help us bring Deirdre home.”
