The tender notice for the main contract was published on eTenders on 7 June last with a deadline for receipt of documentation of 13 July .

The tender notices for the Mechanical and Electrical Reserved Specialists were advertised on eTenders on 21 June last with a deadline for receipt of documentation of 22 July 2018.

The pre-qualification and shortlisting of suitable contractors has now taken place.

“The school action committee have done great work in keeping this project to the top of all our political agendas and school principal, Brian Bergin is to be congratulated on putting St Paul’s needs on a national stage,” he said.

“This is very positive news for the school and I am informed that the school is working very closely with the Department to advance the previous construction start date of Quarter 3, 2019 to Quarter 1, 2019.”
