The Queally Group has teamed up with Naas Tidy Towns Committee and the Tree Council of Ireland to plant over 160 Trees in Naas.
This is to mark the beginning of National Tree Week and the Tidy Towns proposal to re-furbish and replant the three main roundabouts just off the M7 and the approach to Naas from Dublin.
Ciaran Murray of the Queally Group said: “ The Queally Group is one of the biggest employers in Naas and is proud of its long association with and contribution to the local community. The trees will are to be planted on the perimeter of our facility, on the roundabouts as well as in two local schools.”
At the tree planting ceremony, the Mayor Of Naas Councillor Seamus Moore and Rioghnagh Bracken Chairperson of Naas Tidy Towns thanked the Queally Group for their continuing commitment to the efforts of the Naas Tidy Towns Committee and commended local Kildare woman Kay Hartigan of Professional Gardeners Guild (Ireland) on her appointment as Chairwoman of the National Tree Week campaign.
