A vacant first floor commercial unit is to be transformed into three own door apartments
Planning permission has been granted for a €586k “change of use” from a business premises in Rathangan, Co Kildare to three new apartments.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), the planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council on May 28 2026.
It was subsequently approved on September 10 2026.
This was with respect to a property addressed at Kildare Road, Rathangan, Co Kildare.
The proposed development will consist of change of use of an existing vacant 1st floor commercial unit (previously granted planning permission), to three own door access apartments comprising of two two-bed apartments and one one-bed apartment and all associated ancillary works.
The ancillary works include one additional window to south elevation, one additional window to east elevation and three additional roof lights.
The architect for the proposed scheme is KBM Architects Limited.
