WATCH: Naas Main Street crisis featured on RTÉ news on Monday night

The trading crisis on Naas' Main Street, which has seen scores of shops close over the past few years, featured on RTE's Six One news bulletin last night.

Reporter Ciaran Mullooly interviewed Mary Burke Spratt of the Naas Regeneration Group, Mary Mulligan of Butt Mullins, Derek Nolan of Nolan Family Butchers and Kim Kelleher of Jingles about the difficulties faced by business people in the town, an issue which has been covered extensively by the Leinster Leader.

However, the issue of the derelict shopping centre in the centre of the town was not raised during the report.
