Brendan and Domhnall Gleeson, one of Ireland's most arguably famous father and son duo, are set to appear on the latest season of hit show The Simpsons.
In the upcoming episode of season 27 that will be streamed on Disney, Brendan and Domhnall will lend their voices to play the shared role of Joe Quimby Sr., Mayor Quimby's father, voicing him through different stages of his life.

The plot of the episode titled 'Sashes to Sashes', will see Bart running agains Mayor Quimby's son for student council president, while Lisa learns some troubling secrets about the Quimby clan, as well as The Simpsons.
Other memorable Irish voices that have appeared in the long running show include Liam Neeson, Colm Meaney, U2, and Pierce Brosnan, to name a few.

The Simpsons is the longest-running animated TV series in history and creators show no sign of stopping just yet, with a new movie in the pipeline set for release in 2027.
