Organisers of Irish family-focused music and arts festival reveal more acts in line-up

Further acts joining the line-up of a popular family-focused music and arts festival has been revealed.

The organisers behind Kaleidoscope have today (April 5) announced that Róisín O and King Kong Company are on the bill for the three-day festival (June 30 - July 2), alongside Cairde, indie folk duo Paper Tides, and grunge-punk band Bruising Shins.

They join already announced acts Nile Rodgers & Chic, B*Witched, Gavin James and the Dublin Gospel Choir, among many other performers at the event, which takes place on the grounds of Russborough House, Blessington, Co. Wicklow.

The programme ensures plenty to enjoy for everyone in the family, with Mark the Science Guy wowing with his whizzing science demos, and zoologist Collie Ennis teaching youngsters and adults alike about conserving the planet.

The School of Irish Archaeology is set to bring their replica ‘Viking House’ and excavation site to the event, where children and teens can make like an archaeologist and discover a way of life and artefacts dating back over 1000 years ago.

A multi-award winning Irish mental health charity will also share their mindfulness techniques for all ages through a host of workshops, and the colourful Jerry Fish will be returning with his Electric Sideshow of incredible aerial artists, strongmen, clowns and carnival acts.

There will also be a movie sing-along with Dublin Gospel Choir, a journalism workshop for kids, an improv acting workshop by the Gaiety School of Acting and a superhero-themed creative writing workshop.

An accessibility friendly area will also be available for those who need some space, quiet and further assistance.

A special 25% flash sale on weekend camping tickets is running until Monday April 10 at 11.59pm for anyone who wants to snag a bargain.
