The woman was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries. She was pronounced deceased yesterday evening.

One of Newbridge’s longest-established hair salons, the town’s first Peter Mark at the Dunnes Stores shopping centre, has received a revamp.
Karen Daly, Sonyia Keegan, Sinead Reidy, Mark Keavney, Evelyn Loftus (salon manager) Peter O’Rourke, CEO, and Colette Fitzgerald, are pictured at the ribbon cutting at the unveiling of the new-look salon last Wednesday evening, March 13. The salon has a team of 20.
“Our clients have been so supportive, and we cannot wait to welcome them, friends and new clients through the doors over the coming weeks,” said Ms Loftus.
