The organisers of Prosperous Music Festival are celebrating the success of the event which took place over the weekend of August 21 - 22.
More than 50 individual acts appeared at several venues throughout the village, showcasing a variety of music types.
It was the fourth edition of the festival, and the biggest and best yet. It was supported and sponsored by local pubs and businesses.
A new addition to the festival was the Family Fun Day in St Farnan’s Post Primary School field.
There was an outdoor stage set up for the younger performers of the area to get up and showcase their talents to family, friends and their community and neighbouring communities.
Another new addition to the weekend was be a classical music event, specifically centred around pianists in the historic Downing’s House. The committee thanked everyone who attended the festival, saying it was “without a doubt, the best one yet”.
