'Will be glued to the couch': All the best reactions to Kildare contestant's reveal in Season 2 of Traitors Ireland

The reality show with a unique twist has returned to our screens
An outpouring of enthusiastic (and hilarious!) reactions have been posted online following the reveal of a County Kildare contestant on the brand-new second season of The Traitors Ireland.
The contestant in question is Páraic K (Kerrigan), a 33-year-old Kildare man who works as an Assistant Professor at University College Dublin.
In addition to his work, he is also the author of the books ‘LGBTQ Visibility, Media and Sexuality in Ireland’ and ‘Reeling in the Queers’.
Páraic also has a new book — ‘Pop Culchie: The Irish Pop Culture That Made Us’ — due for release next month.
After his reveal (and a post confirming his appearance in the show on his official Instagram profile), a number of social media users gave their thoughts about Páraic’s inclusion the show.
One user said: “Oh just be yourself and you’ll do great as a Traitor!”
Another said: “Well, well, well, I'll be watching with extra vested interest now!”
A third user said: “You’re going to be amazing cause you literally just lied straight to my face on Friday!”
In addition, a separate user commented: “Absolutely epic, will be glued to the couch!”
Last (but certainly not least), another user had certainly had an impassioned view about Páraic, so much so that they posted their message in all-caps: “THIS IS WHY YOU LEFT ME HIGH & DRY AT ELECTRIC PICNIC - TRAITOR!!!!”
