Musical maestro Freddie White will take to the stage at the Riverbank ARts Centre this Friday, April 11.

White has been part of the fabric of the Irish live music scene since the 1970s. He was a founding member of ‘Scullion’, and afterwards formed ‘The Fake’, regarded as one of the seminal irish bands of the late 1970s.

‘The Freddie White Band’ formed in 1978, toured with Eric Clapton.

Freddie’s latest album, ‘Here With You’, was released in April 2012. It introduces Trish Hickey and is a collection of songs from some of their favourite writers.

The singer-songwriter moved to Sydney three years ago, and is on a short visit to these shores before he returns Down Under.

The gig starts at 8pm and tickets are €18. To book, call the Riverbank on 045 448330 or visit www.riverbank.ie.
