Music returns to Fletcher's pub in Naas

Margaret Hoban and Bobby Roche performing in Fletcher's

Music is played every Thursday night (9.30pm) in Fletcher’s pub in Naas.

Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones was famously denied a request to play there but Bobby (Bernard) Roche, Margaret Hoban, Jim Devlin. and Rev. Philip Heak all perform. Music is provided by both invited musicians and some who drop in. All genres are welcome.

“I love the atmosphere in the bar; the wood, the high ceiling, the stained glass and the absence of piped music and multiple screens.

“I thought I’d ask Tommy (Fletcher) even though I didn’t think he would agree. I was surprised when he did,” said Bobby.

The evenings have been dubbed “the Ronnie Wood Sessions at Fletcher’s.”
