Fitzpatrick's Garages Kildare is celebrating having won no fewer than three awards.

Fitzpatrick's Mercedes-Benz has been named Franchise Sales Operation of the Year 2026 at the SIMI Motor Industry Awards 2026, while Fitzpatrick's Garages Kildare has also been named Francise Aftersales Operation of the Year.

Meanwhile, SEAI and ZEVI announced their regional winners of the EV Dealership of the Year, with Fitzpatrick’s Garage Naas named Regional EV Dealership of the Year for Leinster.

The SIMI Motor Industry Awards celebrate best practices in the Irish Motor Industry and acknowledge the hard work and achievements of SIMI Members.

The award winners are adjudicated by an independent panel and are chosen from various sectors operating within the Irish Motor Industry.

Companies that are shortlisted demonstrate an award-winning level of excellence and best practices over the past 12 months.

This achievement is a true testament to the passion and professionalism of the incredible teams throughout the Fitzpatrick’s Garage Group, as well as the continued loyalty and support of its valued customers.

Regional EV Dealership of the Year for Leinster

Along with the prestigious SIMI Awards, the SEAI and ZEVI announced their regional winners of the EV Dealership of the Year, with Fitzpatrick’s Garage Naas named Regional EV Dealership of the Year for Leinster.

A national winner will be chosen from the four regional winners at the SEAI Energy Show in April. Fitzpatrick’s Garages have previously won the national award in 2022 and 2024.

The award is assessed based on multiple different criteria such as staff knowledge, depth of training and EV promotion. Being named winner is an incredible recognition of our teams’ efforts and passion for EV vehicles.

In total, 125 car dealerships from 25 counties participated in the 2026 dealership awards.

Funded by ZEVI, these SEAI-administered awards recognise dealerships working to build consumer understanding and experience of EVs and ultimately their roll-out on Irish roads.

A huge thank you to Zero Vehicle Emissions Ireland (ZEVI) and the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) for this incredible honour. We’re proud to be part of the clean energy transition and committed to deepening consumer understanding of EVs to drive the future of efficient, zero-emissions transport for all.
