Claudia Boyle Live in St Brigids Cathedral.
Irish Soprano Claudia Boyle stunned the audience with an intimate concert at St Brigid's Cathedral on Wednesday, June 28, as part of the 45th Kildare Derby Festival.
The setting of St Brigid's Cathedral provided amazing acoustics and a breath-taking backdrop and guaranteed a special evening for those in attendance.
On the night Claudia performed a carefully curated set to suit all tastes with a mix of opera, folk, Irish, classical and contemporary music.
Songs included 'O mio Babbino Caro', 'Sempre Libera' from La Traviata, 'Nella Fantasia' the theme from 'The Mission', 'Summertime' from Porgy and Bess, and 'I could have danced all night'.
She also performed her own version of Bruce Springsteen’s 'If I should fall behind, wait for me' and Billy Joel’s 'Lullabye'.
Claudia also debuted her version of The Galway Shawl especially for Colm McLoughlin, CEO of Dubai Duty Free who sponsored the evening ahead of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby and hails originally from Galway.
