Newbridge Library is hosting an art painting workshop for children during the Easter mid-term this Friday 6 April with artist Sharon Dunne.
The workshop is taking place from 11.30am to 1pm and is for children aged 8 to 11 years old.
The children will painting a gorgeous garden of tulips in acrylics.
This is one of a number of upcoming events at the libary.
There will be a talk on advocating for students who have Down Syndrome with Nicola Hart of Down Syndrome Ireland on Tuesday 10 April at 7pm.
This free talk is taking place at 7pm and will cover topics such as: Working with the school to support your child, Communicating between home and school, Troubleshooting and Helping your child to develop self-advocacy skills.

Meanwhile, John Carpenter will hold a Painting for Adults course on Thursday 26 April from 2.30pm to 4pm.
This course is for both beginners and people who may want to take it up again. It takes place in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It is aimed at over fifty year olds as part of the Kildare Owl event Programme.
