Bluebells and Buskers is back at Kilinthomas Woods with an environmental theme

The launch of this year's Bluebells and Buskers

Bluebells and Buskers returns to Killinthomas Woods, Rathangan for the sixth year on Sunday May 5.

This incredibly popular event raises money for the RYARC Centre in Rathangan and pays for the insurance, light and heating for this invaluable service in Rathangan.

Main organiser Brian O’Loughlin said: “We are looking forward to another super event this year and we have a great line up of 20 different events including music, yoga and story-telling for children. Last year we raised more than €8,000 for the RYARC Centre and we hope to do even better this year.”

The event is dedicated to the memory of the late Jimmy O’Loughlin and is a wonderful event for nature and music lovers, walkers, children and families.

At 1pm people start to gather in Killinthomas and the music starts at 2pm.

Being very conscious of the environment and single use waste, this year limited-edition Bluebells and Buskers branded keep cups are available for €5 and branded non-BPA water bottles are also available for €5. If people bring their own keep cup they can buy coffee/tea for €1.

This event gets more popular every year so head out to Killinthomas Woods on Sunday May 5 for brilliant music, food and fun.
