Masquerade ball in Kildare town in aid of Relay for Life

Get ready for one of the charity events of the year

Relay for Life Kildare Team Songbirdies, captained by Niamh Curley, are hosting a masquerade ball in aid of Relay for Life Kildare (Irish Cancer Society) at the Kildare House Hotel in Kildare Town on Sunday May 5 from 8pm to late.

"It's going to be a really fabulous event that will start with a bellini reception and plenty of photographs to capture all of the beautiful outfits and most importantly the masks! There is great excitement building up as everyone decides what to wear and which mask to go with! Kildare House Hotel have been so generous in getting behind the event so it is going to be so much fun," said the organisers.

"On the night, after enjoying a bellini reception in the bar, everyone will head into the main ballroom for dinner and entertainment that will be provided by the fantastic 52nd Street Live Band and a DJ who will have everyone dancing the night away."

Team captain Niamh Curley said: "We won't stop until cancer stops. Unfortunately all of us have been affected at some point by cancer within our own families, friends and communities, so we are standing up and fighting back to celebrate those who have survived, to remember those we have lost, and to fight back and give hope for a cure. Together we can make a really big impact.

"It's a night out for every age from in your 20's to in your 90's! It's a dinner dance with style that you don't want to miss out on. And all in aid of an extremely worthy cause that has affected us all."

Tickets are €25 each (over 18's only) and they are on sale now! For tickets please contact Niamh Curley 087 612 8323 or Lisa Nagle 086 391 4152.
