Newbridge Library has released its latest programme of events for the coming weeks.

Open Mic Night For Writers & Poets in Newbridge Library on Friday January 25 at 7pm
An open mic night for emerging and established creative writers and poets is taking place in Newbridge Library on Friday 25 January at 7pm. Members of creative writing groups in the Kildare, Naas and Newbridge areas will be in attendance. All welcome.
 
St Brigid's Cross Making Workshop with Beth Murphy on St Brigid's Day Morning in Newbridge Library
Beth Murphy from Willow Wonder is facilitating a free St Brigid's Cross Making Workshop in Newbridge Library the morning of Friday 1st February. Places are limited, so please contact Newbridge Library (Tel: 045448353, Email: newbridgelib@kildarecoco.ie ) to book your place.
 
Drop-In Information Service with Local Employment Service on Thursday January 31 (2-4pm)
Kildare Arts Service are organising a free information session in Newbridge Library on the last Thursday of each month from 2 to 4PM. This is particularly suited to those who wish to receive help with their CV, career guidance, job seekers and seeking assistance with training courses. All are welcome.

Healthy Ireland Event in Newbridge Library: Talk on Food&Nutrition For Optimal Health on Tuesday February 5 at 7pm
Registered dietician and consultant nutritionist Ellen Roche will provide food and meal ideas to look after your body from inside out in this free talk. Ellen, who worked as a hospital based Dietician within the HSE for a number of years, will also speak about probiotics and prebiotics (what are they and how can they be incorporated into a diet?) along with providing examples of new dietary treatments for digestive issues. Storytime In Newbridge Library Every Wednesday Morning
Newbridge Library hosts storytime, songs and fun for children under five years every Wednesday morning at 10am. All are welcome to come along!
