Rural crime to be discussed at South Kildare public community alert meeting

Rural crime

A community alert public meeting is to be held at St Laurence’s in South Kildare on November 15 at 8pm.

All members of the public in South Killdare are invited to attend this public meeting. With the darker evenings and a number of break-ins over the last number of months, the meeting has been organised by the Community Alert committee in conjunction with the Gardai and Muintir na Tire.

The group felt it wold be helpful to organise this meeting to reassure the wider community. On the night, management of the Gardai in Kildare will be in attendance along with crime prevention and advice clinics.

Also Muintir na Tire will have their own advice on security and application forms for the older persons alarm system. And if you are concerned about crime in your area please come along to this meeting.
