D12 member Swifty McVay in Newbridge next week with Obie Trice

Next week, The OBIE TRICE ‘CHEERS 15th Anniversary tour’ brings two of Detroit’s finest to Kildare’s own live music venue with D12 member SWIFTY MCVAY joining the ‘Got Some Teeth’ star live on stage, Friday November 9.

While SWIFTY is best known as a prominent member of Hip Hop supergroup D12, he has remained strong in the game with a string of solo releases including most recently ‘What up Doe’ ft. OBIE TRICE & MRK SX.

These artists are celebrating 15 years since the iconic debut album ‘CHEERS’ was released, which was executively produced by EMINEM for Shady Records with additional production from DR DRE & TIMBALAND.

Featuring anthemic singles such as ‘We all die one day’ featuring EMINEM, 50 CENT & LLOYD BANKS & ‘The Set Up’ ft. NATE DOG - That’s a whole bag of hip hop hits to hear live in Newbridge.

Upstairs @ JRB’s have been spoiling Kildare folk bringing huge shows to Newbridge over the past few months with the band behind The Sopranos theme track - ALABAMA 3, the incredible musicianship of THE OLLLAM and most recently, west coast rapper COOLIO as well as a range of unsigned acts and club nights all in the mix.

One night, two hip hop legends, this is sure to be a sell-out gig.
