Meteorologists are predicting the return of Saharan dust over the weekend, bringing about some unseasonably warm weather.
The dust is expected to blow across Ireland this Sunday and Monday, bringing temperatures upwards of 10 to 13 degrees.
The phenomenon, which occurs when strong winds transport fine particles of dust from the Sahara Desert across the Atlantic, has become a regular occurrence seen in Ireland.
Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather has predicted the dust to linger into Monday.

Met Éireann has said that this Sunday will be mostly cloudy and blustery with fresh, gusty west to southwest winds, strong at times in the northwest. There'll be scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most persistent in Ulster. A few brighter intervals in the east and south. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.
They also say Monday will continue mostly cloudy and breezy with patchy rain and drizzle. Highest temperatures will reach 9 to 12 degrees with fresh, gusty west to southwest winds.
Cold air is set to then make a comeback on Wednesday with rain spreading northeastwards to all areas and may fall as sleet in places for a time. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees with freshening easterly winds.
