Temporary road closure announced between Kildare-based graveyard and GAA club.
Kildare County Council (KCC) has explained that the road closure is currently in operation on the L1004 Dunfierth between Johnstown Bridge GAA and Dunfierth Graveyard in order to facilitate essential roadworks.
“Diversions and traffic management will be in operation to facilitate the works,” KCC added. “Works are expected to be completed by Friday, June 19, 2026.
KCC also said that it wished to ‘apologise for any inconvenience caused’.
