Congratulations to Newbridge Native, Conor Tiernan who came 3rd overall in the National Series Duathlon in the Phoenix Park last Saturday April 21.

Tiernan, a member of the Defence Forces and former Senior Sarsfields GAA player took up Triathlons and Duathlons in 2016 and has worked extremely hard to achieve what he has to date. In 2017 he finished 2nd in his age category in Ireland and has high ambitions for this year.

Tiernan has represented Ireland in Triathlons with the Defence Forces in Germany and aims to continue his success as we head into Triathlon season 2018.

Tiernan has been coached by Mariusz Olejniczak from No 1 Fitness in Kilcullen for over a year and has thanked Mariusz and No 1 Fitness for their support.
