Kildare footballers take on Westmeath in challenge game tomorrow

Kildare senior footballers returned to training last week and with the O'Byrne Cup just around the corner there is little time to get into shape.

Cian O'Neill's side takes on Westmeath on Saturday in a game to mark the official 'turning on' of the new floodlights at the Kilcullen GAA grounds.

Kilcullen over the past few seasons have been making huge improvements to their fine facilities and Saturday's game will mark another significant milestone for The Rags.

The game is due to throw-in at 2pm what will undoubtedly be a very competitive affair.
