Maynooth too strong for Naas in IHC final

Maynooth's Tadhg Forde gets around Conor Gormley of Naas in the Intermediate Hurling Championship final at Hawkfield.

In a double header at Hawkfield Centre of Excellence on Saturday, Maynooth got the better of Naas to be crowned Kildare intermediate hurling champions for 2016. The final score read Maynooth 2-13 Naas 1-9.

In the junior final Coill Dubh took the title defeating Sallins by just two points, 2-10 to 2-8.
