Kildare GAA: Naas advance to MFC final

Naas are through to the Manguard Plus MFC following a deserved three point over Round Towers at Manguard Park on Tuesday night.

Played in an absolute downpour through the entire game, Towers got the opening two points of the game through Tadhg Donlon and Ollie Deller but Naas took control and led at the break 0-8 to 0-3 with fine scores from Eunan Cowzer, Robbie Millham and Liam Kenny.

Towers got right back in it,  scoring 1-1 in the opening three mintues of the second half, the goal coming from Tadhg Hipwell.

However despite giving it their all, that was as close as Towers got to their opponents with  the impressive Eunan Cowzeer getting the final score of the game in the 57 minute.

Final score: Naas 0-12 Round Towers 1-6.

Scorers: Naas, Euan Cowzer 0-5 (2 frees), Robert Millham 0-3, Liam Kenny 0-3 (3 frees), Cian McKevitt 0-1.
