Rugby: Athy and Co Carlow contest Towns Cup final

Forenaughts, home of AIL Division 1B side, Naas RFC, is the venue for this season's much-awaited  and highly anticipated final of the Bank of Ireland Pronvical Towns Cup on Sunday 27 April between Athy RFC and Co. Carlow FC.

It is the 98th final of this very prestigious and historic cup competition and a crowd in excess of 3,000 is expected on Sunday.

The excitement is building in both clubs in the run up to the game and Naas RFC are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the day is a success enjoyed by all for the final.

In the semi-finals Athy defeated Tullow 35-33 while Co. Carlow got the better of Wicklow by the minimum or margins 10-9.

Sunday's decider will kick-off t 3 pm.
