Kildare senior football manager, Glen Ryan, is expected to remain in charge of The Lilies in 2023, the Leinster Leader understands.

Appointed on a three year term in 2022, with a review after two years, it is understood that review has taken place and it is expected the Executive Committee will recommend to the Management Committee his tenure to continue into 2024.

The Leader also understand there will be some changes in the backroom; Dermot Earley, one of the 'Dream Team' appointed two years ago as a selector/ coach is stepping aside, due to going overseas with the Defence Forces.

A new selector is expected to be appointed along with possibly one or two additional coaches.

An official announcement is expected to be announced within the next week or so.
