Holders make it four titles from the last five finals

Naas CBS joint captains Charlie Murphy and Austin Brennan lift the Bro Bosco Cup

Naas CBS have been crowned Leinster PPS 'A' football champions and holders of the Bro Bosco Cup for the fourth title in six years following a dramatic two point win over Moate CC in a rip-roaring game at Portlaoise this afternoon.

It was Moate who opened the brightest dominating possession early on and led 0-3 to 0-1 after seven minutes.

Gradually the current Bosco Cup holders got their game going and by mid-way were level at 0-3 apiece.

Moate regained the lead through Donal Shirley but five points without reply from Stephen Kelly, Tom Kelly, Callm Berrett, Ryan Synkey (free) and Carl Lennox (free) saw Naas CBS heading to the dressing room leading by four - 0-8 to 0-4.

Naas extendned the lead to five inn the 36 minuite but Moate chipped away at the lead and in the end it was Naas hung on in the dying minutes as Moate came storming back from a five point deficit to cut the lead back to one. However a brilliant break-away point from Ryan Synkey from some 40 yards eased the pressure before the final whistle arrivedd, Naas CBS winning 0-11 to 0-9.
