A call has been made for a pedestrian crossing to be constructed in Athy.
Cllr Aoife Breslin says it should be provided at Woodstock Street in the town.
A preliminary design has been prepared by Kildare County Council. However, KCC also said there is currently “no funding stream identified for this work.”
