David Boland murder inquiry latest: Man to be charged in connection with stabbing of Kildare father

A 20-year-old man arrested and detained in Naas Garda Station by Gardaí investigating the death of David Boland from Nurney is expected to appear before a sitting of Naas District Court tomorrow morning, Sunday, November 4, at 9.30am, to be charged in connection with the case.

A man in his late 20s arrested and detained at Kildare Garda Station as part of the investigation was released without charge last night. A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Mr Boland received multiple stab wounds in the early hours of last Thursday morning at Duke Street in Athy.
