Road closure to facilitate resurfacing works to take place in Kilcullen, County Kildare, today

A road closure will be put in place in Kilcullen today in order to facilitate resurfacing works.

Kildare County Council said in a statement: "Please note that road resurfacing works will be carried out on the L6074 Logstown (from the L6074 / R448 to the L6074 / L6072 /R412).

"A road closure will be in place on Thursday, June 15, 2023.

"Diversion routes will be in place and will be clearly signposted."

KCC concluded: "Your co-operation is appreciated, and any inconvenience caused is regretted."

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE

Westbound Traffic is redirected at Carnalway Cross onto the L6072 to the junction with the R448.

Turn left onto the R448 heading towards Kilcullen to finish at the junction of R448 / L6074.

Eastbound Traffic is redirected at the junction of R448 / L6074 northwards in the direction of Naas.

At the Junction of R448/L6072 turn on to the L6072 and continue in a eastbound direction finishing at Carnalway Crossroads.
