Bernadette (Ber) Dempsey (née Dargan) - 38 New Oak Estate, Carlow Town / Athy


Bernadette (Ber) Dempsey (née Dargan) of 38 New Oak Estate, Carlow and formerly Coneyboro, Athy, Co. Kildare, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, on May 15, 2019.

Beloved wife of Charlie, much loved mother of Keith, Brian, Mark and Enda, adored grandmother of Aaron, Lorcan, Nancy and Jack, and cherished sister of Michael.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Barrack St., Carlow from 4pm on Friday with Prayers at 8pm. Removal on Saturday at 9.45am to The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Pallative Care Unit, St. Luke’s Hospital. Kilkenny.

John Doherty - Naas, Kildare

Formerly of Friary Road. Beloved husband of Vivien and dear father of John, Dermot, Mary, David and Brian. Sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law Tom, daughters-in-law Rose, Christine, Adriana and Susannah, his 11 grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas on Friday from 5pm with prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 2pm in the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas followed by Burial in St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

 


Mick Houlihan - Pairc Mhuire, Newbridge

Peacefully at Naas hospital surrounded by his loving family, husband of the late Ita. Sadly missed by his loving daughters Anne, Pauline, Colette and Mary, sons-in-law Harry, Mick, Kieran and Dave, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother Chris, sister-in-law Betty, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his family home from 3 pm on Friday. Removal on Friday evening at 5:45 pm to arrive at St. Conleth’s Parish Church, Newbridge at 6-30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11 o’clock followed by burial in St. Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge.

William (Bill) McCormack - 37 South Main Street and Craddockstown, Naas

McCormack (37 South Main Street and Craddockstown, Naas) – May 15, 2019, (following a long illness, bravely borne), in the excellent care of the staff of Tallaght Hospital, William (Bill), devoted husband of Carole, loving father of Emma, Jenny, Conor, Hazel and the late Barry and dear brother of Ann and Mary; Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, sisters, daughter-in-law Mary, sons-in-law David and Trevor, grandchildren Mark, Nathan, Iseult and Thomas, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing on Friday from 4.00pm to 8.00pm with Prayers at 7.00pm at Murphy Brothers Funeral Home, Church Lane, Naas. Removal from his family home on Saturday to the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas arriving for 10.00am Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Corban’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Formerly of St. Maelruan's Park, Tallaght, D.24. Peacefully after a short illness at Tallaght Hospital. Dolores, loving wife of Michael, dear mother of Laura, Sharon, Carol and Michael. Sadly missed by her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, brothers, sisters, extended family, friends and neighbours. May She Rest In Peace. Reposing at her home in Killeighter on Friday from 5pm 9pm. Funeral Mass at 11am on Saturday morning in the Church of the Nativity, Newtown followed by burial in Cloncurry cemetery, Enfield.


Anthony Tunney - Great Connell, Newbridge / Turlough, Mayo

Tunney, Anthony (Tony), Great Connell, Newbridge, and formerly of Cruelaim, Turlough, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, 15th May 2019, (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff of Naas Hospital, predeceased by his son John, sadly missed by his loving wife Celine, daughters Marian and Emma, sons-in-law Ces and Dom, grandchildren Sarah, Colin, Ahron, Aela, and Claire, sister Delia, brother Martin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his daughter’s Marrion’s residence, (Great Connell – W12D329), from 4 o' clock on Friday with prayers at 8pm. Removal by Anderson and Leahy Funeral directors on Saturday afternoon at 1pm to arrive at St. Conleth's Parish Church for 1.30pm Mass. Burial afterwards to St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired to Friends of Naas Hospital. Donations box in Church.
