Ruby Walsh
Kildare jockey Ruby Walsh, made a winning return to racing at Thurles, this afternoon, when winning the Thurles.ie Maiden Hurdle decisively on the Willie Mullins trained Lareena.
The 11/8 favourite won comfortably from Awayinthewest (6/4) and Rough Night at 16/1.
It was Ruby’s first ride since breaking a leg at Punchestown back in November.
The champion jockey has stated he may ride at the weekend before travelling over to the Cheltenham Festival, beginning on Tuesday.
