She wore a YSL bag and Zara shoes.

It wasn't Ms Cass' first time on the red carpet, as she also made the final five on Tuesday.

"I'm delighted, very surprised. I come to Punchestown every year and I love the style, I go to a lot of Ladies Days," she told the Leader.

Ms Cass who is originally from from Gowran, won best dressed at the Curragh a couple of years ago, and won 'Elegance is an Attitude' at the Dublin Horse Show.

She has been a widwife in the Rotunda hospital in Dublin for the last seven years, and fashion is something she's loved since she was young.

"Since I was a child I'd always save up all my money for clothes and shopping, it's always continued then, my mother loves style as well, so I got it from her."

Ms Cass already has her dress sorted for the grand finale tomorrow, and revealed monochrome will be the colour.

Gretta Peters from Tipperary and Longford woman Kate Nally McCormack were the winners on the first two days of the festival.
