SuperValu manager Alex Butler from Cork was "thrilled" to be named Bollinger Best Dressed for day one at Punchestown.

The middleton native wore a beautiful Sophie Hunter hat, her overdress is vintage from Miss Daisy Blue in Cork, her pants are Zara, shoes are Dunnes Stores and bag is Topshop.

"I always wear things you either love or hate, and I love it", she said.

The stylish lady is no stranger to the races, winning best dressed at the Galway races in 2015.

She is now through to the Grand Final, which takes place this Friday, April 27.

Judges for day one included Made in Chelsea's Rosie Fortescue and journalist Sophie White.
