Kildare County Council releases Safe Routes to School Scheme update for this region
Local access will be accommodated at all times
Kildare County Council (KCC) has released an update in relation to the Safe Routes to School Scheme at one particular County Kildare region.
Explaining the update, KCC said that it wished to inform the public that works are continuing ‘at pace’ on the Scoil an Linbh Íosa / Safe Routes to School Scheme in Prosperous.
“It is expected that the works will continue throughout the months of July and August,” KCC added. “Local access will be accommodated at all times.”
KCC further said that localised Temporary Stop / Go traffic management measures will be in place on the L-6002 in order to facilitate the works taking place this week.
Moreover, KCC noted that construction drawings in relation to the project can be viewed on its official website.
Lastly, KCC said that it ‘apologises for any inconvenience’ caused by the works.
