The arrested persons were taken to Blanchardstown Garda Station and detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Two teens have been arrested by gardaí following a car chase which began in Kildare.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochana said that the organisation is investigating a number of dangerous driving incidents that occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, January 22, 2023 in counties Kildare and Dublin.
They said: "After a vehicle failed to stop for Gardaí in the Kildare Division, Gardaí commenced a managed containment operation assisted by the Garda Air Support Unit.
"The containment operation concluded in the Blanchardstown Retail Park area of Dublin 15 shortly after 3pm.
"The occupants, who had abandoned the vehicle, were arrested by Gardaí a short distance away."
The spokesperson continued: "No injuries were reported during the course of this incident.
"The arrested persons, two male youths in their late teens, were taken to Blanchardstown Garda Station and detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
"They have both since been charged and appeared before the Children’s District Court in Smithfield yesterday morning Monday, January 23, 2023."
"Investigations are ongoing," the spokesperson concluded.
