Lone male entered Kildare town petrol station armed with wheel brace

Gardaí in Kildare town are appealing for information on a burglary that took place at Dreas garage on Station Road on Thursday, April 11.

At approximately 9pm, a lone male entered the shop and produced a wheel brace to one of the staff. He demanded money off the shop keeper.

The staff member refused to hand anything over. The male stole a number of small items from the shop before fleeing the scene in a small white hatchback car.

The male is described as 5’7 in height, slim build and going bald on top. Gardaí say he was possibly intoxicated.
