Kildare men get huge chance at Game of Thrones premiere

The Dundara team

An Allenwood man was assigned to produce the glitzy red carpet premiere of Game of Thrones for broadcast on one of America’s biggest entertainment shows.

Enda Grace, who owns Dundara Television and Media, was hired to work for Extra, a show that broadcasts live across the US on NBC and syndicated by Warner Brothers.

“I was delighted and shocked in equal measure when asked if I would bring my team to Belfast to produce the red carpet premiere of Game Of Thrones season eight,” Mr Grace said.

“Game of Thrones is one of the biggest shows on the planet right now and to be handed this brilliant opportunity to produce the premiere for one of America’s biggest entertainment shows was the stuff of dreams”.

And he wasn’t the only Kildare man involved. He was joined by Caragh camera man David Christopher Lynch, as well as production assistant Keith McEvoy and presenter, well known entertainment broadcaster Lisa Cannon.

“David is a hugely talented cinematographer and we’ve soldered together for a number of years now,” Mr Grace revealed.
