No road works for Punchestown

Punchestown racecourse

There has been a call for no road works to be carried out in the Naas area for Punchestwon.

It comes today from local councillor Sorcha O'Neill, who is likely to be pushing an open door since Kildare County Council generally avoids all non-emergency works at this time.

Cllr O'Neill has asked that the council suspends all road or footpath works and road closures that will affect the main street in Naas or traffic going to or from Punchestown during the festival week period fwhich starts on Tuesday April 30.
