Mist and fog slowly clearing most areas this morning, says Met Eireann, but possibly lingering into the afternoon along southern coasts. Rain in east Leinster and much of Ulster, gradually clearing eastwards this morning and into the early afternoon. It will gradually brighten up in most places through the course of the afternoon with some sunny spells developing and just a few isolated showers. Highest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees with light to moderate east to southeast breezes.
Tonight will be mainly dry with clear spells. Mist and fog will develop in many areas and there may be a little drizzle along the southwest coast. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees.
